Most recently we checked out a future estate sale job for our estate sales business “Assisting Hands Estate Sales and Services Inc.
Unfortunately, we had to turn down doing the sale due to lack of revenue; the client didn’t have enough items for us to sell.
While we were looking at the woman’s mother’s items, we noticed a box of over 21 heavy metal belt buckles inside. We told the woman we would give her $80 for the box along with some wood walking canes, and some hand tooled leather belts. She agreed to this deal.
Once we arrived home, I wanted to see the types of unique belt buckles were in the box. When we
reached the bottom of the box, I noticed a men’s ring. It was marked 10K (two-tones of gold) and had a peculiar eagle emblem on the front of it.
Upon some research, we figured out the ring was a Masonic Scottish Rite, 32 Degree ring-which featured a double eagle emblem in white gold in the front.
Lucky Find.
It is now on eBay and I hope to fetch over $200 for it!
You never know what you might find. Treasure hunting is such fun!
