Miracles CAN and DO Happen!!!
Let’s face it, most of us have had a true, angelic intervention, or witnessed an unexplained event that took place at some time in our lives, or a friends. Sharing these stories with each other will be fun and interesting. Also, enlightening the day with positive vibes.
I’m going to start off by telling a story my 84-year-old friend Nick Strong, told me last week.
In the mid-1940’s, Nick was just a young boy. He admits that although, he forgets some of his childhood years, he remembered one particular Spring day. Nick stated, “Patty, it’s a day That changed my life. That day, I realized that there are truly angels or guardians watching over us.”
The event took place at Nick’s grandparents house. Nick, had lived with them for some years due to difficulties within his parents house.
That day, Nick’s Aunt and Uncle were visiting. His aunt, he stated, was a small woman and had an immensely kind heart. Unfortunately, his uncle was an alcoholic at that time, so she had to endure those moments when he’d drank too much.
This day, he had.
When it came time to leave, his aunt and uncle used the kitchen door to exit the house. His uncle lifted the garage door manually and got into his car, which was parked in the driveway. Nick’s grandfather wasn’t happy about the uncle driving while being inebriated, so he watched from the living room window just in case there were any difficulties in their departure.
There was!
As Nick’s aunt was closing the garage door to leave; his uncle had accidentally put the car in reverse. The result of this action was Catastrophic!
Nick’s aunt fell to the ground after the car hit her. His uncle hadn’t realized his wife was on the ground, so he kept his foot on the pedal, which pushed the aunt’s head into the garage’s heavy metal, angle iron bar (it’s purpose is to support the closure of the door).
Swiftly, Nick’s grandfather run out of the house; pulled the driver out of the drivers seat; got in, and proceeded to put the car in forward motion.
Unfortunately, it was too late.
His aunt’s head was wedged against the garage door. It was impossible to move her as it would mean sure death. The reason…Two-inches of the metal bar was embedded in her skull. The grandfather checked her pulse and found she was still alive!!
In order to remove-and rush her to the hospital-Nick’s grandfather would have to carefully cut out a section of the garage door; hold it in place, and safely place her in a vehicle to rush her to a hospital.Nick remembers seeing chaos as his grandparents and uncle rushed inside to call for help and search frantically for s sharp saw.
Once they found one, they run back out outside to help his aunt.
(This is where the miracle happened)
Unbelievably, the aunt’s body was gone and also missing, was a section cut from the garage door. Someone had accurately-with precision- removed the section…How?
No blood was found at the scene, or leading away from the accident area??Where did she go?
It wasn’t long after, that the grandparents received a call from a local Catholic hospital. A nun/nurse had stated someone wearing a cloak had carried a woman into the hospital. The nun stated, it was a nice man, but doesn’t remember to much as they had to immediately rush the injured woman into surgery.
After dropping off the aunt-along with the small section of the wood garage door; this man simply disappeared. No one from the hospital can recall him leaving.
Another interesting point to note: The distance from Nick’s grandparents house to this hospital was 19-miles, yet no car had pulled up to the entrance and there were no signs of blood anywhere. The aunt survived, but the doctors were unable to remove some of the bar that was embedded in her skull.
Nick’s aunt was still able to live a fairly normal life after this horrific accident. She died when she was 82-years-old. Nick still remembers talking to his aunt about the accident. She told him that she doesn’t remember too much about the accident, but does remember someone carrying her and stating in a calming voice, “Don’t worry, you’re going to be alright.”
Nick said he became a true believer of Christ that day. His aunt had been a devote church attendee and loved everyone she met.
Her guardian angels were there for her that day.
