Most babyboomers remember the term “Bubblegum Music,” when reminiscing about a type of uplifting, fun pop music recorded in the late ’60s into the ’70s.
I remember attending a friend’s pajama party; dancing and singing along to 45 rpm records till we were told it was time to call it a night by their Dad and Mom.
Some of my favorite bubblegum songs were- Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, by the Ohio Express;1-2-3 Red Light by the 1910 Fruitgum Company, and Sugar Sugar by the Archies.

Speaking of Bubble Gum-Here is a 1970’s box of Gold Rush grape-flavored Bubble Gum-unused-which sold for $1,001- on eBay.
