Check out these LOW, LOW consumer good prices from the 1940s.

Of course, I’ll be the first to admit that inflation is the norm anymore, but take a look at these advertised prices from seventy years ago!

Considering 75 cents was the minimum wage during that time period verses, the minimum wage in 2016 was $7.25; it seems figuring the standard cost of living has gone amuck.

Last but not least: The cost of a Cadillac was under $1,500. Today the cost of a new 2018 Cadillac CT6 Sedar is over $66,000!

I’d say there is quite a difference-not to mention the quality of the materials has changed a bit?
